Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon

Our wines are styled to enhance a great meal, with neither overpowering the other. The ’06 vintage has dark fruit aromas, well structured and balanced mouth feel and shows a long rewarding finish which will pair well with red meats and robust sauces.

Our Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Windrow (60%) and Dwelley Vineyards (40%). Windrow has the oldest cabernet sauvignon vines in the entire Walla Walla Valley. Both vineyards exhibit an earthiness with subtle herbal undertones typical of the Walla Walla Valley.

Our production is limited to only 10 barrels (240 cases) using 25% new French Oak, 25% new American Oak, and 50% one year old barrels. The wine was aged in barrel for 21 months.

The fruit in both years was picked in mid October when the fruit had been hanging for weeks in moderately cool weather. The result is a mature flavor profile along with enough acidity to yield remarkable balance.

Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Our wines are made with a specific purpose – to compliment a fine meal, not overpower it. The black fruit, hints of blackberry and cherry will pair nicely with steak, lamb or other well flavored and seasoned red meats.

This Columbia Valley Cabernet is sourced from some of the best vineyards within the appellation. In selecting vineyards with different soil and climate profiles we have achieved complexity and balance in both flavor and aroma profiles along with a long subtle finish.

This blend is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and was sourced from Stillwater Creek Vineyard (75%) and Gamache Vineyard (25%). Our vineyard partners have been working the same ground for years and have come to know their vines intimately. As a result, they can coax the very best from the fruit that go into this bottle year-in and year-out.

Our production is limited to only 9 barrels (208 cases). The wine was aged in 30% New French oak, 25% New American oak and 45% 1 year old barrels for 21 months until we felt all its components were fully integrated.

This blended red wine is a tribute to our mother’s maiden name, Marquis, and her family from Aberdeen, Washington.

Our wines are made to be paired with a fine meal so that the two compliment one another, and one does not overpower the other. This wine is made to elevate you dining experience in a traditional winemaking style.

Our Cuvee Marquis is sourced from 4 outstanding vineyards in the Columbia Valley Appellation. This blend is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon from Weinbau, Stillwater Creek and Gamache Vineyards. Merlot (20%) from Stillwater Creek and Malbec (10%) from Goose Ridge Vineyard were used in the final blend for added complexity.

Our production is limited to only 8 barrels (192 cases). The wine was aged in 40% new French oak, 10% new American oak and 50% one year old barrels, for 21 months

The vineyards chosen for the ’06 vintage result in aromas of cassis, licorice and bold blackfruit with well balanced mouth feel and a long rewarding finish.
